Sawan stressed that there is now an international consensus to support a democratic solution in Libya, indicating that the priority for the national unity government is to prepare for the elections, and to address a number of basic problems that the citizens suffer, on top of which is electricity, indicating Libya’s need for support from Spain and the European Union to complete the elections on time. Especially with the expiration of the long-extended terms of the current bodies, according to the official page of the party.
For his part, “Leatherenth” praised the positive role played by the party over the past years, and its active participation in the various political stations to push for reconciliation and stability, noting that Spain went through a similar and difficult path in the past, but thanks to the sacrifices of the parties it has transformed into what it is now.
