The African Union calls for the Dialogue Forum to speed up the formation of the executive authority.

The Commissioner for Peace and Security of the African Union, Ismail Sharqi, called, on Wednesday, the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum to focus on forming the executive authority in Libya, and not to be distracted from the path led by the United Nations in the country.

Sharqi added, in an interview with the official Algerian Radio, that the African Union is following up on what is happening in Geneva. To reach a clear ground for choosing who represents the Libyans in the next stage.

Sharqi explained that the requirements of necessity at the present time oblige all parties to avoid engaging in parallel meetings, which suggest to some people evading the international track.

It is worth noting that the meetings of the Political Dialogue Forum are continuing these days in Geneva, Switzerland. To hear the candidates for the government and the Presidential Council, the executive authority is expected to be named, next Friday.
