American Poplar Machines: Washington will transfer the Pantsir system, obtained from Libya, to the Wright-Patterson base.

“Popular Mechanics” newspaper reported Saturday that the United States is preparing to transfer the Russian “Pantsir-S1” system that it took control of from Libya to the American “Wright-Patterson” Air Force base in “Ohio”.

The journalist reported that this base is the National Intelligence Center, which specializes in studying foreign military equipment, it will be dismantled and reassembled, to know the principles of its operation, – according to what was quoted by Sputnik -.

In a related context, a spokeswoman for the “Pentagon”, “Jessica McNulty,” said that the Ministry is aware of what was published by the newspaper “The Times” about the transfer of the “Pantsir-C1” Russian air defense system from Libya to the United States, without confirming or denying this information.

The British newspaper “The Times” wrote an article claiming that the Pantsir system, captured during the fighting in Libya, was secretly delivered to the American air base “Ramstein” in Germany, and the UAE bought these systems from Russia, then handed some of them to Haftar’s militias.
