On Friday, 16 bodies recovered from the mass graves in the city of Tarhuna were buried, after their relatives identified them through a photo gallery and belongings of the bodies recovered from Tarhuna.
On Friday, the Search and Identification Authority for Missing Persons announced that the 16 bodies were buried in 6 cemeteries in Tarhuna and Tripoli, and the burial procedures were carried out with permission from the Attorney General’s office.
It is reported that the Commission’s search for remains team Thursday recovered 10 other unidentified bodies that were found buried in a mass grave in Alrabit project, Tarhuna.
