On Tuesday, Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha stressed, during his meeting with officials of the British “Rose Partners” company, the necessity of establishing a higher security chamber with national leadership, regional coordination, and local implementation.
Company officials explained to Bashagha that the purpose of establishing this chamber is to implement the ministry’s tasks and define its priorities in the police and security fields, to enable the minister to practice governance tasks on behalf of the Government of National Accord, and to hold all components of the ministry accountable – as published on the ministry’s official page.
The officials emphasized that the establishment of a security chamber in the areas under the control of the ministry facilitates communication between all its components and work in the field of combating terrorism and crime, and strategic assessment of risks and control over them and reporting information.
It is worth noting that this meeting is not the first cooperation between the Ministry of the Interior and the British company “Rose Partners”, on November 5 of last year, the ministry concluded a second training course in the field of “riot control and sniping” under the supervision of the British company “Rose Partners” for security consultations.
