The US website Middle East Eye said that Haftar owns real estate assets worth millions of dollars in the State of Virginia in the United States of America.
On Friday, the website stated that Haftar bought 17 properties registered in his name with money that he smuggled from Libya, pointing out that among his properties in Virginia is a house and a farm in Falls Church, and he paid $ 8 million in cash to buy one of the other alleged assets and a house of 5,600 square meters worth 2.5 million Dollars in Great Falls.
It is worth noting that the “Wall Street Journal” revealed on November 9 that Haftar owns millions worth of properties in the United States and that Libyan families are pursuing him with his property after he tortured them.
