A member of the Dialogue Forum in Tunis: Dialogue sessions have stopped on the mechanism for selecting candidates for the new presidency.

A member of the Libyan Dialogue Forum in Tunis said on Saturday that the dialogue sessions between members sponsored by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya have stopped over the mechanism for selecting names for the new presidency.

The source, who preferred not to be named, added in a statement to Arraed that the mission asked members to submit proposals for a mechanism for selecting names, such as putting lists of candidates or selecting in the hall when they meet, or putting the name of a person representing each of the three regions, “Cyrenaica, Fezzan, and Tripoli.

It is worth noting that the United Nations Support Mission in Libya announced last Thursday the start of the second virtual meeting of the second round of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum.
