Bashagha: The fuel shipments to the south will be secured.

On Thursday, Minister of Interior Fathi Bashagha said that the security directorates will secure fuel shipments destined for the southern regions, which will be unloaded directly at stations, not depots, to ensure that it reaches citizens.

Bashagha explained – on the ministry’s page – during a meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs, and a number of directors of departments and offices and officers that the ministry is concerned with human rights, and has established a special office for human rights and women’s affairs and an office for child and family protection.

Bashagha indicated that the ministry is interested in training security personnel; To raise the efficiency of the Ministry’s employees in security work, indicating that in the coming period, training colleges for women’s police will be activated.

Bashagha added that the ministry is working to revive the project of installing advanced labs to determine the fingerprint to detect light, medium and heavy weapons, and to install an advanced biometric face recognition system to develop the level of security work in the ministry.

It is worth noting that the Minister of Interior, Fathi Bashagha, made successive visits to a number of countries as part of the Ministry’s efforts aimed at raising the efficiency of the security services in Libya, and fighting corruption, money laundering and terrorism.
