Siala: We seek to restore trade exchange with Tunisia, which reached 3.5 billion dollars in 2010.

Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala affirmed Libya’s desire to restore trade exchange with Tunisia to what it was, which reached its climax in 2010 with a value of $ 3.5 billion.

On Tuesday, during his meeting with Tunisia’s ambassador to Libya, Al-Assad Al-Ajili, Siala received an invitation to visit Tunisia to prepare for the joint committee meetings related to following up and developing aspects of cooperation and integration between the two countries.

Siala confirmed the beginning of the joint committee sessions at the expert level, pointing to the two parties’ desire to work together to overcome the difficulties that impede the course of relations between the two countries.

It is worth noting that the joint committee between Libya and Tunisia agreed last October to reopen the borders between the two countries, ease difficulties for their citizens, and develop bilateral relations between them.
