Al-Rabti confirmed, in a statement to Arraed, that Libya’s share of the vaccine will be for 20% of the population as a first payment based on an agreement with the World Health Organization, to ensure the purchase of an effective vaccine, it is expected to arrive at the beginning of the new year, and the rest will be delivered on stages.

In a related context, Al-Rabti explained that the committee will not resort to the lockdown decision except in the event that there is an increase in the registration of cases of infection, and we are currently working on awareness-raising and training of medical personnel, and the lockdown will be an alternative in case awareness fails.
