On Monday, the countries of France, Britain, Germany and Italy expressed their willingness to take measures against those who obstruct the Libyan political dialogue forum and other tracks of the Berlin process.
The countries added in – a statement published on the French embassy in Libya – that they will take the same measures against anyone who continues to plunder state funds or commit violations and abuses of human rights throughout the country, calling on all Libyan and international parties to refrain from any parallel and uncoordinated initiative that would lead to undermining the efforts of the United Nations.
The countries expressed their full support for the political process led by the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, welcoming the resumption of oil production and securing oil installations.
It is worth noting that the UN Acting Envoy to Libya “Stephanie Williams” warned last Thursday during her briefing before the Security Council, those obstructing the Libyan political dialogue that took place in Tunisia with sanctions against them.
