Al-Yaqoubi: The reconciliation government may be the obstacle to reform.

A member of the House of Representatives, Al Saida Al Yaqoubi, said, “The reconciliation government may be an obstacle to reform by working outside the law, intentional marginalization, systematic exclusion and flagrant corruption.”

Al-Yaqoubi added on its official page, on Sunday, that the efforts of the GNA to recycle Al-Sarraj and present initiatives to entrench power were exposed, because the godfather of this idea has become an icon of failure, and he and those with him have failed, harmed and foiled the reconciliation government efforts of any reform process.

Al-Yaqoubi stressed that everyone must deal with societal realism in order to reach what we aspire to, and to move forward with political reform that was spoiled by former governments, and we must develop the available tools in order to reach the election of a direct government and improve the selection of ministers and officials.

It is worth noting that the Audit Bureau has referred the President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, to the Public Prosecutor, on charges of violating the law and the authorities regarding the health insurance program.
