Saudi Arabia determines the age group from 18 to 50 years with a certificate of PCR examination for visitors of the holly places from abroad.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia announced, on Tuesday, the regulations for providing services to visitors from abroad, with the gradual start of receiving guests from different countries of the world, starting next Sunday.

The ministry said that the protocols for Umrah entitlement include that the age group for overseas visitors should be from 18 to 50 years in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Health, with a PCR examination certificate with a negative result approved by the country of pilgrimage, provided that it does not exceed 72 hours from the time of arrival.

The Ministry stressed that reservation be made in advance to perform Umrah and prayers in the Grand Mosque, visit the Prophet’s Mosque and pray in the honorable “Alrodha Alsharifa”, according to the controls and absorptive capacity approved by the application of “Umrah,” and that flight reservations be confirmed for going and returning according to the approved program for each visitor.

The ministry revealed that the mandatory components of the package of services for each visitor include housing service, three days of health isolation upon arrival to the Kingdom, transport service between ports and housing, comprehensive insurance service, field services that include transportation between the campus, housing and times of prayers, and the appointment of a guide leader for each group.

The ministry added that it works in coordination with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the concerned authorities to determine the countries from which the visitors come, and their numbers periodically according to the classification of preventive measures, and the requirements of the countries from which the visitors come to the Kingdom.

In early October, the Saudi authorities resumed performing Umrah, after a 7-month pause after the outbreak of the Corona epidemic in the world.
