Pompeo: We welcome the signing of the ceasefire agreement and stress that all foreign fighters must leave within 90 days.

On Monday, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo welcomed the ceasefire agreement in Libya, stressing the need for all parties to adhere to the agreement, and for all foreign forces to leave the country within 90 days.

Pompeo stressed – according to the Russian agency Sputnik – that the Libyans must be allowed to decide their future, looking forward to the results of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum led by the United Nations, and support for the transfer of power to a new executive authority to prepare for national elections.

It is worth noting that the Acting Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya, Stephanie Williams, announced the launch of the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, on Monday, through the visual communication system, and the direct meeting will be on November 9th in the Tunisian capital.
