The French embassy in Libya welcomed the signing of the 5 + 5 joint military committee meeting in Geneva on the ceasefire in Libya.

The embassy congratulated – according to its official page – Friday, the parties on this “historic” agreement for all Libyans, pointing out that the success of direct talks between them confirms the priority of Libyan sovereignty in the face of foreign interference.

It is worth noting that the signing of the ceasefire in Libya by the parties of the 5 + 5 Joint Military Committee was greatly welcomed by international, Arab and local parties, including the US embassy, ​​UN Secretary-General “Antonio Guterres”, the European Union, Italy, the Acting Russian ambassador to Libya, the Presidential Council, the Egyptian government and the Qatari Foreign Ministry.
