Sawan: Joining the political track does not mean that Haftar is finished, and we must be prepared to confront him at any moment.

Sawan stressed, in an exclusive interview with February TV, Tuesday, that the military project is not over yet, and he seeks at any moment to create an opportunity to return. Therefore, we must “not lose sight” of him, adding that the most dangerous threat to Libya is the project of militarization, which almost ended the dream of the birth of a democratic state.

Sawan explained that the defeat of the military project was 60% complete, and its danger is still not over, and that entering into the political debate makes us optimistic about reaching the right track.

Sawan said that it had become clear to everyone before the Ghadames Forum that the world had given the green light to the militarization project in Libya by invading the capital.

It is worth noting that two delegations from the Supreme Council of State and the Tobruk parliament have reached an agreement on the criteria for assuming sovereign positions according to Article 15 of the political agreement as a first step to end the division in the country.
