Bo Zniqa Dialogue is Close to Signing a ‘Historic’ Agreement.

Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Boritta said, on Monday, that the Libyan discussions in Bo Zniqa had made important progress in reaching a final agreement, stressing that the signing of a “historic” agreement regarding the sovereign positions in the Bo Zniqa consultations is soon.

The representatives of the Libyan dialogue delegations in Bo Zniqa confirmed, in a statement after the end of the dialogue sessions, that the two councils are making exceptional efforts to reach consensus that unites the institutions stipulated in Article 15 of the Political Agreement.

In a related context, the UN envoy to Libya, Stephanie Williams, confirmed in a speech on the sidelines of the conclusion of the dialogue sessions in Bo Zniqa that the mission will work to launch extensive dialogues and consultations to reach an agreement that satisfies all Libyans.

It is worth noting that a member of the Tobruk House of Representatives, Issam Al-Jehani, said, on Sunday, that the atmosphere between the two Libyan delegations in Bo Zniqa, Morocco, is positive, and the scheduling of work related to standards and controls for the central bank governor’s position , and the rest of the sovereign positions, has been completed.
