Debrez: The solution in Libya will not be military, and its categorical solution is in the constitution.

Member of the Supreme Council of State Abolqacem Debrez and said, on Monday, that the solution in Libya will never be military, for the long or the short term.

In a statement to Arraed, Debrez added: The fundamental solution for those who wanted prosperity in Libya and its people is to complete the track of the constitutional entitlement, which has accomplished more than 60 to 70% of it and support the commission in organizing the general referendum and approving it.

Debrez clarified that the referendum on the constitution carries with it solutions to all the problems that Libya is now suffering from, and immunizes the country from external interference and foreign ambitions and leads to elections.

Debrez stressed that if everyone were to be adhere to what the commission reached to write the constitution, all Libya’s problems would have ended in record time.

It is worth noting that the President of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, called on the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, on March 19, to help the Libyan people in the referendum on the constitution, calling for the need for the commission to be represented in any dialogue discussing the constitutional process.
