The Ministry of Defense confirmed, on Saturday, that there is no legitimacy for any party outside it, and that it will strike with iron fist anyone who violates the values of the civil state, or threatens the safety and security of our people.
The ministry said, in a statement issued by them, that the clashes that occurred at dawn yesterday, Friday, between two brigades in the Tajoura region, is an act that violates the security of the state and threatens the safety of civilians, and that fighting against the rebellion does not give immunity to anyone, and that everyone is under the law and state sovereignty, according to the text of the statement .
The Minister added that they will continue to implement the law on everyone; In fulfillment of the sacrifices of our people, and their endeavor to build a civil, democratic state, he affirmed that all the forces of the Ministry of Defense are subject to the orders of the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army.
It is worth noting that Defense Minister Salah Addin Al-Namroush ordered, on Friday, the dismantling of the two conflicting brigades and the transfer of their commanders to the Military Prosecutor, to investigate the clashes that occurred in Tajoura.
