On Saturday, French President Emmanuel Macron called on Turkey to open a responsible dialogue with good intentions, after the recent political quarrels about France’s support for Greece against Ankara.
“Macron” – in his tweet on Twitter – added that he hopes behind this invitation to address the crisis between Paris and Ankara against the background of the “geopolitical” rivalry in the eastern Mediterranean.
It is noteworthy that France was one of the most prominent opponents of the Turkish expansion in the eastern Mediterranean, supported Greece to stand against Turkey, in what is known as the eastern Mediterranean crisis.
