Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar confirmed, on Monday, during his meeting with the commander of the Libyan Navy, Abdulhakim Abo Houlia in Ankara that his country will continue to provide its advisory and training activities in the military and security fields to Libya.
Akar stressed that Turkey stands with the legitimate government in Libya recognized by the United Nations; to ensure lasting peace and stability in it, pointing out that Turkey supports the territorial integrity and political unity of Libya.
It is worth noting that the Turkish Defense Minister “Hulusi Akar” said, on Sunday, that his country is helping the Libyans establish a regular army, unlike the UAE, France and Russian Wagner mercenaries, which support Haftar’s militias.
