New UN leaks reveal that Haftar’s supporters have violated the arms embargo in Libya.

New leaks of the report of the United Nations experts on Libya revealed that there are 11 companies that violated the arms embargo to Libya, most notably the “Wagner” company, which sent mercenaries ranging in number from 800 to 1,200 mercenaries to support Haftar.

The leaks reported by the Associated Press revealed that the warring countries on Libya had failed to inspect ships and aircraft heading to Libya, in accordance with the Security Council resolution.

The agency stated that the warring parties in Libya and their international supporters violated the arms embargo imposed on Libya by the United Nations, including the UAE, Jordan and Russia.

The agency added that this report came after the special representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Stephanie Williams, warned that the oil-rich country is at a critical turning point, indicating that the Security Council will take measures that will help determine whether the country will descend into new depths of division and chaos or advance towards a more prosperous future.
