Turkish Foreign Ministry: Morocco has constructive stances in resolving the Libyan crisis, and Turkey supports the political process between the Libyans.

On Wednesday, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its appreciation for the constructive stances of the Moroccan state in resolving the Libyan crisis, in light of the meetings of the Supreme Council of State and the Tobruk Parliament.

In the same context, the ministry’s spokesman, “Hami Aksoy,” said that Turkey had affirmed from the start of its support for a political process among the Libyans in accordance with the relevant Security Council resolutions in order to solve the Libyan crisis.

Aksoy added, “His country is closely following the Moroccan Bo-zniqa talks, noting that Morocco had previously hosted the talks of the Libyan political agreement, or what is known as the Skhirat Agreement in 2015, with Foreign Minister Mouloud Chawish Uglo attending the signing ceremony.

It is worth noting that last Saturday, dialogue talks started in the Kingdom of Morocco between members of the Supreme Council of State and the House of Representatives, with two sessions so far, and the dialogue is continuing.
