The representative of Libya to the United Nations, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, called on the Security Council to show seriousness in implementing its decisions on Libya, and obliging the other party to abide by them.
Al-Sunni asked during the Security Council session on Libya on Wednesday about guarantees to establish a cease-fire and not to repeat the aggression, as happened before the Ghadames conference.
Al-Sunni stressed the acceleration of holding presidential and parliamentary elections according to an appropriate constitutional base agreed upon by the Libyans, ending the transitional stages and the state of chaos, with the participation of all active forces from all movements and affiliations except those involved in the killing of Libyans and to end of all foreign interference.
The Libyan delegate to the United Nations, Al-Taher Al-Sunni, called on the international community at the Security Council session last July not to remain silent about the countries that support killing and terrorism in Libya, operating regular Emirati cargo planes, and recruiting thousands of multinational mercenaries, Chadians, Sudanese and Syrians, and those affiliated with “Wagner”the Russian company.
