The Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army, Fayez Al-Sarraj, stressed, on Tuesday, to the delegation of the American “Jones” Foundation for Security and Military Consulting, the necessity of building and developing Libyan military and security capabilities, in accordance with the latest international standards.
Al-Sarraj discussed with the delegation visiting Tripoli how to develop a common vision for capacity-building programs to confront various challenges and risks and defeat terrorist and extremism organizations, reviewing a set of directions and measures to achieve this, including the use of the expertise of international institutions such as the American Jones Foundation.
It is worth noting that the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense, Salah Al-Nimroush, confirmed in early August the ministry got support from the countries of Turkey and Qatar in the field of training and rehabilitation, to rebuild the military institution.
