Algeria confirmed, on Monday, its support for all efforts that bring Libyans together at one table, and its rejection of any military option that undermines the political efforts being made now.
The Algerian Minister of Information, the official spokesman for the Algerian government, Ammar Belhimer, stressed, in an interview with the Russian news agency “Sputnik”, that his country rejects any external interference, and that his country is always seeking solutions to the Libyan crisis in consultation with all countries that can provide Proposals in the positive direction, as he put it.
It is worth noting that Algerian Foreign Minister Sabri Bouqadoum, during his call with Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala, welcomed the ceasefire agreement, reiterating his emphasis on implementing the political agreement as soon as possible.
