Sawan: We are ready to take a step backward, even if there is an injustice to us in order to achieve a peaceful settlement and preserve the political course.

The head of the Justice and Construction Party, Mohamed Sawan, said that as a political movement, they are ready to take a step back, even if that is unfair to them, if that is the demand of some to accept any settlement that ends the crisis in the context of preserving the peaceful political path.

In an article, Sawan said that he discussed with the President of the Presidency Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, the current situation and the need to find a solution to the crisis in Libya, indicating that Al-Sarraj’s current position makes him the most capable of putting forward a serious initiative to solve the crisis.

Sawan added that he had presented to the President of the Supreme Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, some members of the House of Representatives and some political activists; To search for political solutions, and the guarantees needed to achieve a successful settlement.
