A team from International Criminal Court , during a meeting with the head of the Bureau of Investigation of the Libyan Public Prosecution, asked for an indictment of persons involved in the mass graves found in Tarhuna, and in the planting of mines south of Tripoli.
Sources told Al-Jazeera that the criminal delegation had viewed the files of mass graves and mines laid by the Haftar militia and the Russian mercenaries south of Tripoli.
In a related context, the public prosecution stated that it intends to prepare an indictment against the persons involved in these files to be handed over to the criminal court team.
The Public Prosecution previously issued arrest warrants for 20 Haftar militias accused of war crimes, among them the sons of Alkani who controlled the city of Tarhuna.
It is worth noting that the number of bodies found in the mass graves in Tarhuna and the suburbs of the capital has reached 226, so far, while mines laid by the militia of Haftar and its mercenaries have killed more than 40 people.
