Tunisian Parliament Chairman Rashid Ghannouchi said on Tuesday that Tunisia and its president, Qais Said, are in contact with the reconciliation government; Because it is “the representative of sovereignty according to international legitimacy.”
Ghannouchi added, in an interview with Anatolia Agency ,”Those who protest against our communication with the government of reconciliation, these people are proposing a substitute for legitimacy, as if we communicate with unrecognized organizations, which is harmful to the interests of the Tunisian state and its people.
Ghannouchi stressed that the political solution in Libya is the safest way to overcome the state of chaos, and that negative neutrality in Libya does not make sense, and Tunisia is affected by what is happening in Libya.
It is worth noting that the Tunisian government confirmed, last Friday, that Tunisia has a firm stance on the crisis in Libya, and it is based on international legitimacy and respect for the will of the Libyan people.
