UNICEF provides 82 tons of aid to women and children in Libya.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced the provision of 82 tons of medicines and essential supplies for living for nearly 120,000 women and children in Libya, as part of an integrated maternal and child health program.

The organization pointed out, on Sunday, that this program is contributed by the European Union mission through its “My Municipality” program; to enable women and children to obtain the necessary health services, and to enhance health care and nutrition services in the country.

It is worth noting that, in March, UNICEF expressed its readiness to continue cooperation with the Ministry of Health in accordance with the annual work plan, and to provide emergency support, especially for women and children.
