On Thursday, President of the Presidential Council, Fayez al-Sarraj, confirmed that retribution for the aggressors was coming, and that the response would be a deterrent and a painful in the battlefield.
This came during a phone call from Asarraj to the Italian and Turkish ambassadors to Libya, to check on their safety after the militias attacked Zawiat Dahmani area, where the two embassies are located.
And Asarraj reiterated, according to his media office, that the repeated assault on residential neighborhoods is a cowardly act that comes after the successive defeats of aggressor militias on the battlefield.
It is worth noting that the bombing of the Italian and Turkish embassies in Tripoli’s Zawiat Dahmani area, which occurred yesterday on Thursday, resulted in a number of civilian victims and security personnel.
