In a statement, the Ministry of Interior called on all members of parliament to join the House of Representatives held in the capital, Tripoli, to participate in drafting the constitution, stressing the ministry’s readiness, to provide full security protection to all members of parliament without exclusion or exception.
On Wednesday, the Ministry commended the statement issued by the Parliament in Tripoli, welcoming all the initiatives that support the political agreement and the unity of the Libyan soil.
It is worth noting that the Libyan Parliament issued, on Tuesday, a statement refusing to tamper with the fate of the country, in response to Haftar’s announcement of his coup against legal bodies, and the inauguration of himself as ruler of the country.
