The Libyan embassy in Italy embarks on a plan to return the Libyans stranded there.

The Libyan embassy in Italy reported that it had finalized its plan to return Libyan citizens who were stranded in Italy and wished to return to Libya.

The embassy added, through its official page, on Sunday, that it had contracted hotels in the north, central and southern Italy for 14 days, including accommodation and living expenses, under security supervision and medical services, to follow up on citizens wishing to return, especially those suffering from chronic diseases.

The embassy confirmed that all registrants will undergo the necessary medical examinations to detect infection with the Coronavirus on the first day of residency, and the analysis will be repeated 14 days after the quarantine.

The embassy indicated that transportation will be provided to them upon the expiration of the quarantine period and the proof of their health safety, and registration operations will be completed within a period not exceeding six days from the date of this announcement.

It is worth noting that the Libyan embassy in Italy announced last March its counting of all Libyans residing in Italy, and confirmed its provision of grants and necessary medical assistance to them.
