The US Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, said on Tuesday, during a call with Finance Minister Faraj Boumtari, that public sector salaries and the immediate financing of the National Center for Disease Control and Municipalities – is vital to maintaining the health of all Libyans.

Norland welcomed, according to the official page of the US embassy, ​​all attempts to improve coordination between the country’s economic leaders in order to maintain the government’s response to the health crisis posed by the Corona epidemic.

It is noteworthy that the Ambassador of the United States of America to Libya, “Richard Norland” called on Friday, Khalifa Haftar to suspend his attack on the capital, Tripoli, to allow the authorities to confront the Corona epidemic, which would enable the two sides to return to the draft for ceasefire.
