The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms the housing of 1,362 citizens in Tunisia and offering them medical assistance.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, on Sunday, that the Libyan Consulate General in Tunisia managed to accommodate 1,362 citizens, including 278 who paid the rent from their own pockets until the consulate handles this matter financially at a later time.

The ministry added, on its official page, that the consulate has begun distributing some drugs and medical supplies to a number of stranded citizens, especially the sick ones, indicating that it will continue to provide the necessary services to them.

It is worth noting that the Libyan Consulate in Tunisia requested, on Friday, stranded citizens who applied for housing allowance to stay in their homes so that the crisis representative at the consulate can contact them.
