French newspaper Le Monde said on Tuesday that the French presidency informed news agencies that Hifter is ready to sign the ceasefire provided that the opposition party respects it.
The newspaper added in an article that Hifter’s visit to the Elysee Palace in Paris was not on the waiting schedule and out of sight. describing Hifter as the person who did not fulfill his obligations.
The newspaper noted that Hifter no longer enjoyed the support of Russia after he refused to sign in Moscow, and that the visit is part of the Paris plan; to revive the outputs of the Berlin Summit.
The newspaper confirmed that Hifter agreed to stop the hostilities, and to demobilize “non-Libyan fighters” as stated in the Berlin meeting, and that he would accept the “Libyan-Libyan conference to come up with a political solution” under the auspices of the United Nations.
