Libyan army spokesman, Colonel Pilot Muhammad Qanunu, confirmed on Saturday that the army forces had destroyed an ammunition depot and gatherings of Haftar militias and their mercenaries in Qasr Bin Ghashir area.
Qanunu explained, in a statement, that the targeting came in response to the bombing of Hifter militias for civilians behind the fighting lines in the capital, Tripoli, stressing the commitment of the army forces to the instructions of the leadership of the “Operation Volcano of Anger” to deal firmly and forcefully with the treacherous militias and to target fire sources.
It is worth noting that the Hifter Militias continues to violate the truce and bombard the homes of civilians in the municipalities of Abusleem and Souq Aljumaa, destroying some private property and causing the displacement of many families.
