A Tunisian court sentenced a journalist loyal to Hifter “Mahmoud Almisrati” to four months in prison and a fine of 1,000 Tunisian dinars for defamation and slander on the Libyan civil society activist Leila Souissi.

The activist, Leila Souissi accused Almisrati of writing postings that made false accusations and slanders against her, including that her organization, “The Pulse of Libya for Peace and Development”, is funded by certain parties.
