The Minister of the Interior, Fathi Bashaga, said on Wednesday that militia leader, Khalifa Hifter and his foreign partners, have today clearly demonstrated once again that they are seeking to destroy the lives and future of civilians and sabotage the infrastructure of Libyan cities and villages.
“We will defend and protect our country with full determination so that the peace we aspire to is possible,” added Bashaga, tweeting on his official Twitter account.
On Tuesday, Hifter militias bombed the Tripoli sea port twice with indiscriminate bombs, killing 3 civilian employees working in the port.
