Aki: The European Union will discuss Berlin’s outputs today.

On Monday, European Union foreign ministers will discuss the results of international talks held in Berlin on Sunday to end the conflict in Libya.

The European Union pledged, earlier, to do everything necessary to implement any agreements reached at the negotiating table, especially with regard to the ceasefire and the arms embargo imposed by the United Nations on Libya, according to the Italian agency “Aki”.

The participants in the Berlin conference concluded that it is important to implement a cease-fire and that it should be a political solution in Libya, the arms embargo should be respected and a mechanism set up to monitor its implementation, and the establishment of a 5 + 5 Military Committee that would meet next week.

It is worth noting that the Berlin conference was held, on Sunday, under the auspices of German Chancellor “Angela Merkel” and the participation of 14 countries and 4 international organizations, to discuss ways to find a solution to the Libyan crisis and prevent interference in the Libyan issue.
