President of the Presidential Council, Fayez Asarraj, said that Libya has the right to conclude alliances and agreements with any party, and we will spare no effort in establishing real partnerships and alliances to repel Hifter or any other aggression, and we will not leave any way to defend ourselves.
Asarraj added, in an interview with Lusail News website, on Tuesday, that the issue of repelling the aggression needs time, and it will be defeated and return to what we aspire to, which is the establishment of a civil state, indicating that Hifter’s allies realized that there was no military solution in Libya.
Asarraj explained that the GNA did not make alliances in the dark, as it is an internationally recognized, legitimate government that operates under international coventions and laws and has not brought mercenaries and signed a declared memorandum of understanding with the Turkish side.
It is worth noting that the President of the GNA, Fayez Asarraj, visited Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan last Sunday to discuss the implementation procedures for the two memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries.
