Leaders of European countries and Turkey reaffirm their support for the Berlin conference.

Leaders of Turkey, France, Germany and Britain have confirmed their support for Germany’s efforts to hold the Berlin conference on Libya by the end of this year.

Turkish President Rejep Tayyip Erdogan, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, at a meeting in London, expressed support for the UN envoy to Libya, Ghassan Salama, to press ahead with a Libyan-led political process.

It is worth noting that the meeting took place a day before the summit of the “NATO” pact scheduled today in the British capital London on the seventieth anniversary of its founding.
