GNA army forces repelled attempts to advance by Hifter militants backed by mercenaries and planes in the axes of Al-Sa’adiya and Al-Khallatat and forced them to retreat.
A source from the western military area confirmed to Arraed the arrest of seven Hifter fighters in the axes of Al-Sa’adiya and Al-Sabaia, including the “Janjaweed” mercenaries, during an attempt described as a “failure.”
For his part, the Military Information Office of Operation Volcano of Anger reported the killing of 15 Hifter militants and mercenaries in the Alkhalatat axis, and the arrest of a number of these militants, including mercenaries.
The office added that the GNA army destroyed 10 armed vehicles for Hifter, and captured three military vehicles, including an armored vehicle, stressing that the army forces still maintain their previous positions.
It is worth noting that the Hifter militants tried to advance, Monday, in the axis of Alkhalatat towards the camp of Hamza, but the army thwarted this attempt, and repelled an attack last Sunday in Saadia.
