Ghiryan Protection Force denied on Saturday any armed clashes with Hafter elements within the administrative borders of the city, stressing that it confronted an attack of these militias at the gates of Al-Loif and Gaddaf Al-Dam northeast of Ghiryan.
The force confirmed on its official page that the security situation in the city was under control and sent reinforcements to the force on its border, noting that it had arrested a group of Hafter militias hiding inside Ghiryan.
The force explained that a group of Hifter members took civilian cars and passed through the gates of Ghiryan entrances, from the gates of al-Waf and Qadhaf al-Dam in the northeast of the city.
It is noteworthy that the media propaganda of Hafter published news that there forces entered Ghiryan, and took control of parts of the city.
