Work was stopped in Al-sharara oil felid after the valve connecting the field with Azzawia oil port was closed by of the unknown.
On July 20, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced the closure of a pipe valve in Al-Hamada area, which resulted in the loss of nearly 290,000 barrels before being reopened on July 23.
The oil field close to Aubari is one of the largest and most oil producing fields in the country, and its daily production is currently about 300 thousand barrels per day.
