Interior Minister Fathi Pashagha, on Friday, discussed with officials from the Pentagon and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) ways to develop the capabilities of his ministry’s counterterrorism officials.
The American side, according to the official newspaper of the Interior Ministry, is ready to hold several training courses in the areas of combating terrorism, money laundering crimes, drug crimes, cooperation in the field of forensic evidence and organized crime in all its forms.
The ministry said that the American side expressed its satisfaction with the steps taken by the Ministry of Interior to develop the work of its security services.
Interior Minister Fathi Pashagha met with the Assistant Director of the FBI, the Assistant Legal Assistant at the FBI, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Libya, and the Ambassador of Libya to the United States of America.
