The head of the High Council of State (HCS) Khaled Al-Meshri confirmed from the headquarters of the US Congress, that the biggest challenges to Libya are negative regional interventions.
In an event attended by a large number of prominent figures interested in the Libyan issue in Washington, Al-Meshri said, “The United States can help prevent negative regional interventions,” considering that if the Libyans were given the opportunity to decide their fate, their crises will be solved easily, according to the official page of the High Council of the State.
Al-Meshri have concluded that the solution would be to achieve political consensus by creating a climate for holding parliamentary and presidential elections on a constitutional basis, supporting economic reforms, national reconciliation, ending clashes and completing security arrangements.
On his vision for the future Libya, Al-Meshri aspires to have a national parliament through free and fair elections, unified institutions, a new identity for the economy, a great role for the private sector, a new role for the government through a small and strong government and a local rule that eliminates marginalization and social protection that protects citizens and encourages them to work. Also, services that enable the citizen to work in peace and encourage them, providing excellent health services and education, and a strong army on the doctrine of protecting the Constitution and the homeland, and security devices that impose security and stability.
The head of the High Council of State Khaled Al-Meshri has received an invitation from the US Congress to visit Washington and to attend the National Breakfast Day on the seventh of February.
