The Russian Ambassador to Libya Ivan Molotkov, on Sunday, renewed his country’s support for Al-Wefaq government.
Molotkov invited Al-Sarraj to visit Russia to promote bilateral cooperation, and activate the agreements concluded between the two countries, according to the information office of the President.
For his side, Al-Sarraj stressed the deep relations between the two countries and the importance of updating the agreements signed between them. He expressed his hope for the return of Russian companies and investments to Libya.
Russian Ambassador to Libya Ivan Molotkov confirmed in February last year that the Russian embassy would resume operations from Tripoli when security conditions permits it.
