Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, on Saturday, expected the end of the development of the empty field by Al-Waha Oil Company, which will supply Al-Sireer station with electricity at the beginning of 2019.
In a meeting held at the company’s headquarters in Benghazi with the presence of the board of directors of Al-Waha Company, Sanallah said that the company has started the project of developing the North field Jalo, which aims to produce about 100 thousand barrels of oil per day.
The President of the National Oil Corporation reviewed the activities of the oil company for the year 2018 and its plan of action for 2019, stressing that it has the ability to increase production rates, according to the best methods if the necessary budgets are available.
The company announced, on Thursday, that November sales of crude and its derivatives, as well as tax revenues and royalty payments, amounted to $ 2.4 billion.
