Saila and El-Bakoush Agree To Unify The Maghreb Union Efforts To Combat Terrorism


The Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala, on Wednesday, agreed with the Secretary-General of the Arab Maghreb Union, Attayeb El-Bakoush, to unite the Maghreb’s counter-terrorism effort.

Siala called on El-Bakoush for the unification of Maghreb efforts to combat terrorism targeting the entire region, adding that it is difficult for any Maghreb country to succeed in fighting it alone, according to the official page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

El-Bakoush condemned the “terrorist” attack on the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which took the lives of innocent people, affirming the solidarity of all Maghreb peoples with Libya in fighting terrorism and extremism and rejecting its roots.

El-Bakoush stressed that the international community should earnestly seek to eliminate the causes of terrorism, its sources and sources of funding, and uniting the efforts to confront terrorist organizations and rid the world of its pests and evils.
